• autumn/winter2024 – ‘US of A’ poem appears as a visual arts piece in the Representing Law exhibition at Pontio. Double-longlisted in New Writers Poetry Competition 2024, judged by Jordan Hamel. RAW LIT poem receives Best-of-the-Net nomination
• summer 2024 – Portrait of a young Girl Falling debut pamphlet published and launched! Hedgehog Proper Pamphlet competition winner – watch this pamphlet space in 2025. Wild and happy thanks to Hedgehog Poetry Press Mark Davidson for his faith in my work.
• spring 2024 : published in RAW LIT issue 4; Finalist and Top-tier finalist in Globe Soup’s Genre Smash Short Story + 48-hr Flash competitions; Review of Findlater/Cary’s ‘Stone Trees’ accepted by Atomic Bohemian Press. ‘Poems published in annie journal and Ffosfforws 5 ( Cyhoeddiadau’r Stamp, issue edited by Miriam Elin Jones)
• autumn/winter 2023 : debut poetry pamphlet accepted by Hedgehog Press (eek!); twice highly commended in Hedgehog pamphlet comps (over 30s ‘I’m Feelin’ Good’ & ‘White Label #12’); joined H’s Little Black Book series; double-longlisted in New Writers Poetry competition
• spring/summer 2023 : ‘The cost of living’ selected and reviewed by Linda France for Mslexia issue 98 publication (‘Poems for the Planet’ – theme, air); ‘Mae Genod Jest Eisia Cael Hwyl’ published in Ffosfforws 4, by Cyhoeddiadau’r Stamp (issue edited by Carwyn Eckley); work in two international anthologies: The Poetry Marathon 2022, and Tiny Anthology, Bangor University MA Creative Writing cohort
• autumn/winter 2022 : awarded Masters in Creative Writing (Distinction) from Bangor University; three poem sequence published in Seattle-based journal Firmament; honourable mention, Globe Soup 7-Day Challenge #7; joined Nation.Cymru Wales-wide interactive cultural map
• spring/summer 2022 : Top-100 longlist for Mslexia Single Poem Competition judged by Pascale Petit; novel opening longlisted for the Gwobr Cyntaf Crime Cymru First Novel Award; Cranked Anvil Flash Fiction longlist; Globe Soup Flash Fiction and 7-day Challenge #3 Finalist; co-edited publication, ‘SONDER, An Anthology’
• autumn/winter 2021 : double-shortlisted for the Staunch International Book Prize, flash fiction and short story categories (made local news!); ‘the national trust‘ poem published as part of Poetry at Penrhyn Masterclass
• spring/summer 2021 : won the Globe Soup Open Short Story and 24-hr Flash fiction comps – thanks Globe Soup judges, an amazing boost to my writing; joined Cranked Anvil Short Story July longlist
